It's been a little rough...

okay it's day two of my caffeine exorcism and I must say the headache today was much milder than the one yesterday, no caffeine you ask? why yes I answer and here's why. I have been having some tummy trouble as of late and every symptom points to my gallbladder and while it's been very mild and annoying, I decided to go the dietary change route to see if that would help, so after consulting with the free Dr. hotline and advised to take a probiotic supplement and modify my diet, bye bye caffeine, and greasy food. Dairy is the next food on the chopping block if this doesn't help. I am doing all that I can to avoid having my gallbbladder go yucky, I have no insurance and while we here in Knoxville have been blessed with a free clinic for the working people with no insurance, i really can't afford to have my husband off the road for the time it would take for surgery and recovery and all that garbage, so anyway the Dr. told me if after a month things aren't looking better I need to come in for a full work up oh well here's to everything going my way :)

I've been lazy...

so I've been lazy, shame on me, while I have been wallowing in self pity due to my stalled weight loss efforts, I'm in a holding pattern ten pounds gone and ten to go and they won't budge, anyway I'm hoping to rectify the laziness situation and start writing at least every other day. I've been quite productive today as I made my own laundry soap and fabric softener and tomorrow the are going to get a test run on mine and babygirl's clothes, I'll have to wait till DH comes home to test the stuff out on his clothes. Today also is the second installment of no SLS shampoo for myself or babygirl, my hair doesn't feel "slickery" like it did when using regular shampoo but as I get older my hair has started to thin and while part of it is genetics the other part just may very well be chemical irritation, so to prove my theory I have eliminated the chemical part of the shampoo process I will give a full report after two more washings and go from there.
